Introduction
Welcome to the Association of Real Estate and Property Managers (AREAPM). By accessing our website or using our services, including the listing of properties, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
Membership
- Eligibility: Membership is open to licensed real estate professionals and property managers who agree to abide by AREAPM’s code of ethics and professional standards.
- Application: Prospective members must complete an application process, including the submission of relevant credentials and agreement to these terms.
- Fees: Membership fees are due annually and are non-refundable. Fee rates may be subject to change with prior notice.
Use of Services
- Listings: AREAPM provides a platform for members to list properties directly under their mandate. Only members may list properties, and all listings must comply with our listing policies. Third-party listings are strictly prohibited.
- Conduct: Members must conduct their business with integrity, professionalism, and respect for the public and fellow members.
- Compliance: Members must comply with all local, state, and federal laws related to real estate and property management.
Property Listings
- Direct Mandate: Members may only list properties for which they have a direct mandate. This ensures accuracy and integrity in the listings provided on AREAPM’s platform.
- Accuracy of Information: Members are responsible for ensuring that all information provided in their listings is accurate, complete, and complies with relevant laws and regulations.
- Removal of Listings: AREAPM reserves the right to remove any listing that violates our policies, is found to be fraudulent, or is otherwise deemed inappropriate.
Intellectual Property
The content, logo, and other visual media created by AREAPM are the property of AREAPM and are protected by copyright laws. You may not use these materials without the consent of AREAPM.
Disclaimers
AREAPM provides its services on an “as is” basis without warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied. While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, we cannot guarantee the absence of errors or inaccuracies in listings.
Limitation of Liability
AREAPM shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our services, including but not limited to damages arising from inaccuracies in property listings.
Indemnification
Members agree to indemnify and hold harmless AREAPM, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses resulting from their violation of these Terms and Conditions, including but not limited to inaccuracies in property listings.
Amendments
AREAPM reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services after such changes shall constitute your consent to such changes.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which AREAPM operates. Any disputes related to these terms shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

Accountability and Liability for Listings
- Member Responsibility: Members are solely responsible for the information provided in their listings on the AREAPM platform. Each member must ensure the accuracy, legality, and compliance of their listings with all relevant regulations and these Terms and Conditions.
- Disclaimer of Responsibility: AREAPM cannot be held liable for any information, errors, or omissions in the listings made by its members on its platform. While AREAPM commits to maintaining a high standard of quality in listings, it is the responsibility of each member to ensure their listings are accurate and compliant with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Enforcement and Assistance: In the event of a dispute or reported misconduct related to a property listing, AREAPM may take steps to investigate the matter. While AREAPM cannot be held responsible for the actions of its members, it is committed to upholding the integrity of its platform and may assist in bringing to justice any member found to be in violation of these Terms and Conditions or engaging in unethical or illegal practices. This may include, but is not limited to, suspension or termination of membership and cooperation with legal authorities as deemed necessary.
- Reporting Misconduct: Members and the public are encouraged to report any suspected inaccuracies, misrepresentations, or misconduct related to property listings. AREAPM will review such reports in a timely manner and take appropriate action in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and its policies.
